Redmi Note 10 Pro launch soon: Specs, India price, features, and everything we know so far

Xiaomi's sub-brand Redmi is likely to announce its Redmi Note 10 series in India soon. There's no doubt that the Redmi Note series has a different popularity level among Indian consumers. The first Note series device was made official in 2014 since then the device maker has sold over 140 Million units globally.

But in this article, we will be focusing solely on the upcoming Redmi Note 10 Pro from the Note 10 lineup. For instance, the Redmi Note 9 Pro sat right between the Redmi Note 9 and the Redmi Note 9 Pro Max. We are expecting the same for the Redmi Note 10 Pro. The Redmi Note 9 Pro got almost all the top variant features, i.e. the Redmi Note 9 Pro Max.

The Redmi Note 10 Pro and Redmi Note 10 have been spotted on Singapore's IMDA certification site with the model number M2101K6G. This listing indicates that the Redmi Note 10 Pro will soon make it to the consumers.

Several more leaks have popped up revealing this device's design and hardware. We decided to round-up everything we know so far about the upcoming Xiaomi mid-ranger.

Redmi Note 10 Pro specs and features

--The IMDA certification website where there two devices were spotted further reveals that the Redmi Note 10 Pro will have a 4G and a 5G variant.

--Previously, the Redmi Note 10 Pro has been spotted on several websites like FCC, European Economic Commission, Singapore's IMDA and India's BIS (Bureau of Indian standards). But these listings reveal almost nothing about the design of the device.

--However, an Indian tipster revealed that the Redmi Note 10 series would be made available in three colours Grey, White and Green. Through which we can predict that the Redmi Note 10 Pro will ship in the aforementioned colours. Just a reminder, the Redmi Note 9 came in the same colour scheme.

-- The Redmi Note 10 Pro is expected to feature a 6.67 inch IPS LCD panel with support for 120Hz refresh rate. High refresh rate display has now started making it to midrange devices. Hence, this might be a standout feature, if Xiaomi prices the Note 10 Pro well.

-- As per the Media reports the Redmi Note 10 is expected to ship with Qualcomm's Snapdragon 732G. It is a powerful octa-core chipset coupled with Adreno 618 GPU which should slice through any game you throw at it. This chipset supports the 120Hz refresh rate, 4K Video recording, and Wi-Fi 6 compatible.

-- Looking at the previous iterations the Redmi Note 10 lineup is expected to be made available in three RAM and storage varaiants 6GB + 64GB, 6GB + 128GB, and 8GB + 128GB.

--There are various speculations about the camera setup on the upcoming Redmi Note 10 lineup. Some reports suggest that it will ship with a 64-megapixel primary sensor whereas some rumours are hinting towards a 108-megapixel sensor. Besides this, it will get an ultrawide an ultra-wide-angle, macro, and a depth sensor, the specs of which are unknown for now.

--Through an FCC listing, we know that Redmi Note 10 Pro will have support for 5G/4G with GSM, LTE, and WCDMA networks. It is also tipped to support dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, NFC, 3.5mm jack and Type C. The same report mentioned that the Indian variant might miss out on NFC. Apart from this, Redmi Note 10 Pro will be running MIUI 12 on top of Android 10 out of the box.

--Finally, the device will be powered by a 5050mAh battery with support for 33W fast charging.

Redmi Note 10 Pro India launch

As per the media reports, the Redmi Note 10 series launch, including the Redmi Note 10 Pro, is just around the corner. Xiaomi hasn't announced an official date for the device launch but looking at the past trend the device is expected to arrive in the second week of February.
